With so much work behind the scenes to make it just right, we will begin the journey together reading about a traveler going on her first adventure in more than seventy years. Set your calendars, clocks, alarms and sundials for what I hope will be a miniature event together.
Not counting today, when I am writing this post, there are seven days left until we begin the journey, but if you have opened this post then you will know that I am posting a preamble later on today, like an hors d’oeuvre to sate what I hope is a growing appetite for this tale that I’ve been hyping up for more than an hour.
